Hello, my name is Lydia Fisher, and I live for everything HORSE!
I’m a 16 year old junior at Hutchison School in Memphis, and I have a horse named Carrie (a Meklinburg Holsteiner mare). I ride at Oak Crest Farm under the tutelage of Jane Olsen and Erika Momrow and love every aspect of it.
In order to help pay for the expense of caring for Carrie and take even more riding lessons, I started this business called Pony Pucks in 2014…and I’ve been hoofing it up ever since. Because my parents own an awesome catering company in Memphis (Just In Thyme Foods), it seemed like a natural fit for my business: baking healthy treats that every horse loves.
Trust me, they’ll be chomping at the bit to get one.
According to Carrie, these made-from-scratch horse treats are not only delicious, they also make a nice alternative to their usual grub. Ingredients include: molasses, oats, carrots, flour, brown sugar, salt … and every horse’s favorite: a Starlight Peppermint, Spearmint or Candy Corn topper that adds the final touch.
Since we launched, we’ve outgrown my parent’s catering kitchen and have partnered with Madonna Learning Center. They produce them now (and earn money), and we can help a wonderful charity.
Finally, find out how you help Madonna Learning Center every time you buy from us.
Your horse is guaranteed to PUCKER UP for Pony Pucks!
(So, pony up for pony pucks!)
